Summer 2025 Tennis and Pickleball Programs

We are available for private and semi-private lessons starting the week of May 15th. Our summer clinics, events, and socials run daily starting Memorial Day weekend. Email us at NorthstarRacquetClub@gmail.com for inquiries and questions.

Junior Tennis Camps

Memorial Day Weekend Jr. Clinics will be held Saturday and Sunday May 24th and May 25th:

  • (7-10 year olds 1pm - 2:30pm)

  • (11-16 year olds 3pm - 5pm).

Jr. Camps begin Monday, June 16th and run daily Monday - Saturday through August, 23rd.

Every Monday - Saturday (Weekly or Daily drop-in)

  • Ages 7 to 16 (1pm - 4:00pm)

Monday, Wednesday, Fridays:

  • Tennis Skills and Drills: (M/W/F 9:30 - 11am)

  • Pickleball Skills and Drills (M/W 5:30 - 6:30pm)

  • Fridays (5:30 -7pm) Margs & Matches (Pickle & Tennis Round Robin format).

Tuesdays and Thursdays:

  • Pickleball Skills and Drills (9:30 - 11am)

  • Tennis Skills and Drills (5:30 - 6:30pm)

Fridays (Margs & Matches - 5:30 - 7pm):

  • Social Pickleball & Tennis round robin match play w/ margaritas and more

Saturdays (Pickleball “Dinks & Drinks”):

  • 9:30 - 11:00am (Mimosas and socialize after)

Sundays (Tennis “Doubles & Bubbles”)

  • 9:30 - 11:00am (Mimosas and socialize after)

Private Lessons

Private Lesson Rates for Tennis & Pickleball:

  • 30-minute private ($60)

  • 30-minute semi-private ($80)

  • 1-hour private ($100)

  • 1-hour semi-private ($130)

Court & Racquet Rentals

Email us at NorthstarRacquetClub@gmail.com or call the Pro Shop at (530) 562-0322 to reserve a tennis court, pickleball court, ball machine or rent a tennis racquet or pickleball paddle.

Rental rates:

  • Tennis Court - $40/hour (non-NPOA members)

  • Pickleball Court - $20/hour (non-NPOA members)

  • Tennis Ball Machine - $20/hour (non-NPOA members)

  • Tennis Racquet or Pickleball Paddle - $15/hour

Meet our Team

Coach James (pictured with tennis legend Jimmy Connors) is a lifelong competitor and experienced coach. As a junior tennis player, he achieved a Top 20 singles ranking and #2 doubles ranking in New England. In college, he played #1 singles and doubles all four years, earning Male Athlete of the Year honors. With a long history of directing and coaching tennis and pickleball programs at private clubs and associations across New England and Northern California, James brings a wealth of experience to the court. He’s excited to make Summer 2025 at Northstar both successful and fun. A 5.0-level competitor, he continues to play and train at a high level.
